I have gone to ABI North for all of my yearly mammograms (5-6 times now), and have had a positive experience every year. Scheduling is fairly easy, admin/receptionist has always been pleasant and helpful, and all of my techs have been calm, confident, compassionate, and professional. I cannot recommend ABI North enough and do so to all of my friends for screening mammograms.

The staff at Austin Breast Imaging is excellent and full of personality and compassion – from Tammy who schedules appointments, to the front desk who makes our job of completing paperwork less painful, to Misty who makes putting in an IV easy, to forgive for not remembering her name, but the mammogram technician who has to place us in acrobatic positions to get the most accurate images, and to Dr. Sexton who took the time to explain my findings. It always makes me feel I am coming home to family. Thank you so much for taking care of us! It makes breast cancer less scary!

Everyone was terrific from the front desk check in to the waiting room. Maddie, the ultrasound technician was very sweet, professional and compassionate. As as an RN, I was curious that the MD/Radiologist did not come see me to discuss what he/she saw on the images since they asked for me to come back in 6 months for another look. Overall the experience was an A+!!

The staff at Austin Breast Imaging make getting a 3D mamo with contrast an enjoyable experience. Misty is kind, gentle and so positive. I wish I could take her with me whenever I need an IV. I actually look forward to my yearly visit because of the staff and it says something that over the past few years I’ve seen the same techs and doctors, clearly they enjoy working in this office as well.

I love that I can get my mammogram, ultrasound and bone density all done at the same time and can routinely have at least an initial result shared with me before I leave… which relieves a lot of stress (not having to wait for test results).

I had a very positive experience here. Grace, Natalie, Sal and Dr. Sexton specifically were excellent and handled the entire process with so much empathy, kindness and care. The facility is set-up for women to feel as comfortable as possible for appointments that can be incredibly anxiety-producing.

The front desk staff are very professional and pleasant. The wait time has been quite quick every time I’ve had a screening. The high tech machine they use is so much better than the last 20 years of super uncomfortable mammograms. It’s a great women’s healthcare resource I’m glad I found.
